Loading screen

 Like it further up. Think i will move it up a wee bit more so it is in the middle between top of masons head and the top of the screen.

High Scores

Highscores will print in white on the board.

Level Select

 Trying different ideas. Bottom one is favourite. I did like the light but it was a bit to spacey and didnt fit in as well as the darker texture border did.



GLOW


I like glow. Screen shots of different outer glow opacities etc. 


Menu Words now longer stand out.

Alternative Solutions:
If done properly it wouldnt look too bad. But a bit too flat and 2D like.

Starry Sky

 Since our city is set at night time ive put in a starry sky. I like the bottom best. Darker and more black than top one. Once again playing with colours to get it right.

Different colouring


Different lightness. Will depend on what fits in with the other menu assets.

City for Backgrounds


Emily put a city together so that I could get a background of the menus. 

Took quite a few different renders to find the right angle. 

Think i will go with the bottom one.

Wrong Way


Wrong Way


We decided we needed something to inform the player they are going the wrong way. The coders have made it so once Mason is flying backwards the score starts decreasing until it gets to zero. This message will appear on the screen.

App Icon for Game

So we need an icon for our game on the iPad. Have put this one together but because the icons are so small it is hard to tell what it will look like. Will have to check it.

New High Score Screens

 When the player gets a new highscore they will see either of these screens. This will let them know that they are in the top 5 scores of the game.

Loading Screen.

Need to redo the loading screen as its very in your face and the animation doesn't seem to play very well. This is easy fixed as I will just get rid of the animation and make a more subtle loading screen.

It lags and Steven said that he has no way of fixing it. Shall get on to that.

So I accidentally didn't put a space between the words High Scores. Have fixed this now though.

All interface buttons in game

I have given steven all of the assets for the interfaces to be put into the game. The background will still change but those are very easy to change. He has placed all the buttons in which is the most difficult part for him. 

So wer are definitely getting there with the game.


To do:

1- I am now in charge of the in game video so i shall begin planning that out.

2- Take in Game screen shots.

3- Finish background when have render.

Main Menu / Level Select - Just missing background



Next Step

Need to write up the instructions page.

Things to include:
- Accelerometer driven. (tilt ipad left or right to turn, down to dive, and pull up from dive)
- Collect droplets for extra points.
- Use fans to get boost.

In Game Interface

 Hard to tell without the score in there but I think it will look much better when the city is complete.

I still need the rendered city in order to finish the other interface screens.
