I personally like the pause button down the bottom of the screen. It would also work better for how people hold the ipad. They wouldnt bump it but it would still be in easy reach for the user.
Up the top it looks to crowded with the score.

Idea for Score
I have thought of maybe making a box like this for the score. It makes it stand out better from the game and just has a better look than having the score as simply writing over top of the game screen.
Would also fit in with the pause button that I am yet to make.

In game interface
Am now going to start on the in game interface. The score has been done through unity using the same font in which has been used throughout all of the other menu screens.
Image of in game:
To make:
- Pause Button.
- Maybe a box for the score to go in?
I personally dont think we need a reset button in the game as there is a restart button in the pause menu.
Plus the person may accidently hit the reset button when they dont want to.

Score page in game
Screen shot from game. Am so happy with how it looks. Its very clear on the ipad screen which is good.
Main Menu so far
Needs masons uv map fixed up then shall put in the final image of him. Now just waiting on render of the city to put in the background.
Sounds to Volume
I have now edited the sounds to all be the right volumes when put into the game.
We have two possible backing tracks to choose from and I have adjusted each sound to fit with either of those. So as a team we just need to decide which one we like the most.
All of the sounds I have found have come from either freesound.org and freesfx.co.uk. I did however use audacity to edit these in order to fit our game better.
Still to do:
- update interfaces: need renders of final city to finish the instruction, main menu, highscores and level selct.
- loading screen

Smashing Sound success
The sound works really with the smashing animation. It really adds to the game and has certainly made the game more enjoyable. Dying has actually sort of become fun.
Really happy with it.
