Dolphins are seen as very playful and intelligent animals. For that reason dolphins are often captured to be put in aquariums and made to perform shows.
Flipper is a very happy and friendly dolphin who loves his life in the ocean being free to swim wherever he pleases. Flippers favourite thing to do is exploring the ocean and the beauties it contains such as shipwrecks and reefs. However, one day Flipper's exploring got the better of him as he came across a big ship that was out to capture dolphins. Flipper was spotted and from then on, the chase had begun.
